Your Role as Sales Director:
As the Sales Director, you will be pivotal in strengthening JTI’s market presence across Norway, Finland, and Iceland. This position offers full P&L responsibility and the opportunity to drive innovation and growth in a challenging yet rewarding industry. Key markets include Norway, with a strategic focus on capturing 10-15% market share in snus within five years, and Iceland, where JTI maintains a dominant 50% market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Market Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies, focusing on increasing market share in Norway and maintaining dominance in Iceland.
- P&L Management: Oversee budgets, product pricing, distribution channels, and operational strategies.
- Market Assessments: Periodically evaluate business models in Finland, Iceland, and Norway for long-term growth opportunities.
- Product Launch: Introduce new products, like snus in Norway, with ambitious market share goals.
- Distributor & Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with distributors and key customers, managing contract negotiations and KPIs.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop and execute innovative campaigns tailored to different markets.
- Field Sales Leadership: Align field priorities with strategic goals, ensuring consistency in execution.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in FMCG sales.
- Minumun 10-15 years in sales and leadership.
- Proven entrepreneurial experience in driving new business ventures.
- Expertise in Key Account Management and strategic decision-making.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present and defend strategies confidently to large groups.
- Experience managing distributor relationships and crafting strategic market plans.
